Prof. Samantha Anne
Professor of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Cleveland Clinic
Children’s Hospital and the Integrated Surgical Institute. She serves as the Medical Director of Pediatric
Ear and Hearing Disorders and is the lead pediatric otologist for Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Anne is board-
certified in otolaryngology head and neck surgery and fellowship-trained in pediatric otolaryngology. She
completed her undergraduate degree, Master of Science degree, and her Doctor of Medicine degree at
Wayne State University. Her post-graduate training includes a two-year otolaryngology internship and

Dr Anne's research interests and focus is on the evaluation, impact on development and milestones, and
outcomes with management of pediatric hearing loss. She has authored more than a 100 highly
referenced publications, written multiple book chapters, and published a book on pediatric sensorineural
hearing loss. In addition, she has contributed to numerous lectures, podium presentations, and panels at
a number of professional association meetings. In line with this expertise, she has been an invited
speaker for grand rounds at a number of academic centers nationally and international meetings. Dr.
Anne has served as a leader in national professional organizations including the American Academy of
Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, as well as the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology.
